Annual Hockey Banquet

Turkey Supreme, voting on new board members and trophies!

The Cottonwood River

flows through Flandreau State Park. In the summer we walk down these steps and more that are under water, and across a muddy bank before we reach the river's edge.

The dogs are enjoying the warmer weather too!

What a difference a day makes!

We had a list of signs of spring that we added to during the month of March. We also had a calendar where we kept track of noontime temperatures. One day it was almost 62 degrees at lunchtime, the next day it didn't even get above freezing!

Minneopa Falls

were fuller and faster than we'd ever seen them! We couldn't get very close to the falls today!

They were measuring

the volume of water over the dam while we were there.

Our next stop: Rapidan Dam.

The river was full, the dam was roped off and the park below the dam was closed until April 15th.
