We made latkes, (potato pancakes) and noodle pudding. We bought doughnuts. We enjoyed chocolate gelt and stories. We ate latkes with applesauce and sour creme, yum! To my Jewish friends, if we did anything disrespectful it was not intentional, our only intent was to learn more about traditions unfamiliar to us in the hope of becoming more tolerant and accepting of others.
