A friend came for the weekend, bringing all his ice fishing gear and his expertise. Saturday morning bright and early he and R headed out to set up. After the boys had breakfast they joined the men. All four came back for lunch and a quick nap. When they headed back to the ice, the girls, C and I joined them. Saturday was sunny and not too windy, although the high was only 12 degrees F. The fish houses were toasty though as they had propane heaters in them. Bait was minnows as you see here being kissed by S and C. The vehicles made a nice windbreak for the fish houses.
