All the fish houses we've seen thus far have been the pop up type. And while they may be still on the ice when it gets dark none of them are still there in the morning. I'm not sure if it is a date or an ice thickness but the "permanent" fish house village has not yet sprung up.
It is fun, challenging and fulfilling watching you grow into men. We are privileged to be your parents. We are thankful to God for the responsibility and the joy.
He chose a canoe and a river to remember his awesome trip to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area. The canoe is actually a kayak but, since it is beached and therefore upside down to prevent rain from getting in you can't tell, until I told you, of course.
In honor of all his chisel plowing this fall he wanted a tractor on his cake. Can you see I used two colors of chocolate frosting to symbolize plowed and unplowed ground?
