This summer is our 25th High School Reunion. R moved to Vestal, NY just before our senior year. I saw him play baseball over the summer with a brother of one of my friends. When school started he dated one of my friends. Sometime in the spring of our senior year we both tried out for the Senior Class Play and played parts opposite each other. We went to our Senior Prom together and the rest is history : ) The reunion is 11 days after we close on both houses, half a county away, needless to say we aren't going. However, a couple of weeks ago R decided to find out if his class in Cedar Rapids, IA was having a reunion. They were and we are going. The movers have packed, loaded and removed everything from our MN home, the boys are at Scout Camp and we have nothing else to do (other than clean a house, find a kennel for the dogs, a place to stay in IA and a babysitter while we are there. . .) We went through Charles City, IA and stopped for a yummy lunch at this bistro where our Pastor's son is a cook. He wasn't working that day but we still enjoyed our meal.
