is a roadway through the forest and along the coast of Pebble Beach. I had never heard of the drive and R had only recently heard of it when he told someone that we were driving up Highway 1 someone said, "You have do do 17 Mile Drive through Pebble Beach." Unfortunately, the golf courses were not visible from the drive, only a peek here and there through houses, fences or trees and we did not have time to stop and get a bite at The Lodge at Pebble Beach where we could have seen a hole or two. . .Fortunately, it was a spectacular drive along the Pacific coast and we got to see more seabirds, seals and sea lions.
