R picked me up at the airport and took me to his favorite Asian restaurant to share "swishy swishy" a dish where the meat is cooked in broth at the table, they were closed. We had a yummy dinner anyway at another restaurant, best rootbeer ever and fresh avocado! Beautiful room, liked the desk lamp, yummy breakfast with fresh fruit! The old photo on the wall in the main hallway showed Wilshire Blvd. in May 1906. Took a pic of it to contrast it with the Wilshire Blvd I'd see later that day.
