The Kodak theater is the home of the Oscars. The El Capitan theater which debuted in 1926 shows Disney premiers. The court in front of Grauman's Chinese Theater has been attracting crowds since 1927 with foot and handprints of stars. The theater continues to be the location for movie premiers. Both were blocked off with gates, black carpet and guards in preparation for the evening's premier of Anthony Hopkin's _The Rite_.
