The Hjemkomst which is Norwegian for Homecoming, is a replica of a Viking ship built by Robert Asp in the '70s. He sailed it on Lake Superior in the summer of 1980 and died in December of that year from Leukemia. In 1982 members of his family sailed it 6,100 miles from Duluth, MN to Bergen, Norway.
