Last of the Museum

Headed back into the museum from the walk along the riverfront we crossed the wooden walkway that covered the canal that brought water into the mill. On our way out of the museum we peered into a box car that might have carried flour away from the mill. They were setting up for a wedding in the lobby area of the museum, it was beautiful. We enjoyed our day learning about the history of Minneapolis, of wheat and flour and milling. The Mill City Museum is one of Minnesota's Historic sites and Museums and well worth the trip.
