Our first stop was Fort Snelling National Cemetery. It was just days after Memorial Day so I was hoping there would still be lots of flags adorning the grave stones. There were some but not alot. It was still starkly and somberly beautiful though. We are so grateful to those who paid the ultimate price to safeguard our freedom.
