We saw

the omnitheater film Arabia. The scenes from the desert were awesome including some close ups of camels! We also toured the Dead Sea Scroll Exhibit. Our science museum is one of the very few museums worldwide that have been allowed to display the scrolls. The discovery of the scrolls in 1947 was considered one of the greatest archeological feats of all time. We were each assigned a headset when we entered the exhibit, at each point in the exhibit there were two versions, one for adults and one for children. There were also hands on displays throughout the exhibit. C and I did not spend near as much time as the rest of the family touring the exhibit. But, we did see the highlights! While there were various written opinions as to who wrote the scrolls, why and for what audience the creators of the exhibit encouraged you to draw your own conclusions.
